Brandon:
Brandon Theodorou is a 2nd year PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvey Mudd College where he focused on machine learning. He has since joined Professor Jimeng Sun’s lab which focuses on AI applications within healthcare where he has performed research related to both clinical trial optimization, especially with respect to fairness, and generating high-dimensional and realistic synthetic patient data.

Adam:

Dr. Adam Cross is a pediatric physician and hospitalist. He works with OSF Healthcare and has consulted/partnered with a variety of different institutions in a research capacity as well. He has a deep interest in applying computer science and machine learning techniques to healthcare and particularly in the domain of pediatric care to utilize data to improve patient outcomes.
